The Bangladesh Flying Club, now known as the Bangladesh Flying Academy andGeneral Aviation Ltd. was established in 1948 with the goal to create great leaders and
pioneers in aviation sector of Bangladesh.
So far the Academy has created over 600 excellent Pilots for home and abroad.
The Vision of the Bangladesh Flying Academy (BFA) was simply to create next
generation pilots and has been truly successful. BFA & GA has started its journey on
10th May 1948 under the great leadership of Mr. Nurul Amin at Tejgaon Airport, Dhaka
with the aircraft fleet consisting of Chipmunk and Auster.
Mr. Mia Rashid Ahmed and Mr. Nasir Ahmed contributed to BFA & GA as First CFI &
First Chief Engineer respectively.
