Bangladesh Girl Guides Association
The Bangladesh Girl Guides Association has been established under Act 31 of 1973 of the Govt. of Bangladesh. It is a corporate Association and the Association will have a general seal under the rules. Accordingly the Association will have power to acquire and posses any immovable property and to sell the same. The Association itself will be able to file any case against any body and the same will be equal to others. Vise versa under section 2 of the said law, this association has been associated (a council) and under the section 4 of the said law the structural formation and the rules of business has been written accordingly.On June 23, 2013 The National Commissioner of Bangladesh Girl Guides Association, Syeda Rehana Imam along with her team paid a courtesy visit to the Honorable President of the peoples Republic of Bangladesh & the Chief patron of Bangladesh Girl Guides Association Md. Abdul Hamid at Banga Bhabon (President’s House). Other members of the team were Dr. Marufi Khan, Deputy National Commissioner, Professor Yasmin Ahmed, Treasurer, Nurjahan Ara Begum, Regional Commissioner, Dhaka Region, Yellow Bird, Guide, Ranger & Executive group consisting of 7 members.
