Drug International Limited has been incorporating under Registrar of Joint Stock Companies in the year 1974 as a Private Limited Company. It commenced formulation and production in 1983.
It is a pioneer in Bangladesh for adding State of Art oral solid dosage plant. The basic objectives since its inception were meeting guidelines of major global regulatory bodies; World Health Organization (WHO) and GMP guidelines in its production line.
DIL was the first company in Bangladesh to formulate medicines in soft capsule form for the purpose of retaining excipients of some particular medicines such as vitamins. Till date DIL remains the leader in the field of soft gelatin capsules in Bangladesh to satisfy patients’ therapeutic needs. Today DIL uses its refined and modern production processes to export pharmaceutical products to many countries of the world.
