Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre Dhaka

The Indian Cultural Centre in Dhaka was formally inaugurated at a ceremony on 11th March 2010 by Dr. Karan Singh, President of ICCR, and Mr. Abul Kalam Azad, Minister of Information and Cultural Affairs of Bangladesh.
The Centre has been opened at two venues --- in Gulshan and Dhanmondi --- both prestigious localities in Dhaka. Both premises are called the “Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre”.
The Centre has a multi-purpose hall along with an exhibition gallery, a dance studio, music rooms and a yoga room. It also has a library-cum-resource centre with over 21,000 books in the fields of Indian art, culture, politics, economics and fiction.
The Council has deputed two teachers to the Dhaka Centre in the streams of vocal Hindustani Classical Music and Yoga.
