Khulna Mohila Polytechnic Institute, abbreviated as KMPI , the only women's polytechnic institute in Khulna division, was established in 2005 with the goals of providing high quality mid-level technical education, developing human resources, and providing well-paying jobs. KMPI prides itself not because of its age but for the depth of its involvement in engineering and technology. For years, it has demonstrated its excellence and brilliance in teaching and training.Khulna Mohila Polytechnic Institute operates under the executive control of Ministry of Education, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, acting through the Directorate of Technical Education. The academic programmes, however, function under the regulation of the Bangladesh Technical Education Board, Dhaka.
