Muslim Sweets & Bakery Mirpur Outlet

Being requested by many people for a long time to know the truth about how Muslim Sweets came into being and which It was in the year 1967 there were four united brothers namely Mohammed Ali, Ahmed Ali, Md Shawkat Ali and Md Shafiqul Islam. At that time Md Shafiqul Islam, the youngest, was studying whose funds were provided by the hardworking family. At that time the elder three brothers were working in a sweets shop called “Maya Mishtanno Bhandar”. It was on an evening when four brothers were discussing about starting something of their own rather than working for others. An idea that started something very special. It was the idea of starting Muslim Sweets. Living in Dhaka but being from the village Bikrampur which was at that time very famous for sweets and so the four brothers were also very fond of sweets. Thus the journey of Muslim Sweets started in 1967. It was the first sweets manufacturers that was actually run by Muslims and before that only Hindus were mainly into this kind of businesses. The brothers worked day and night to built up the business. Making different recipes for sweets and finding the best quality of milks and other ingredients to make the sweets. It was their initial effort that Muslim Sweets it is today. Years passed by and the business started to grow. Meanwhile the Bangladesh became independent and we started to grow. Our first branch was at Malibagh which is still there. It was in 1968 that their Father “Md Hassan Ali” finally named the shop “Muslim Sweets” based on the name of his first grandson of the family “Musliuddin Muslim” son of Mohammad Ali. Years passed by and our popularity grew in the locality. The first branch in Malibagh being the oldest one of all. Slowly we grew and build up another branch at Green road. The third one was at Bijoynagar, followed by Mirpur, Halirpool, Rampura and Shyamoli. Our recent branch being at Wari is a small but a very decent one. It was not like this from the beginning, after 12th January, 2003 came the separation of the business branches. Mahammed Ali took bijoynagar, Ahmed Ali took Malibagh, Md Shawkat Ali took greenroad and Md Shafiqul Islam took Hatirpool. Md Shawkat Ali along with Md Shafiqul Islam agreed to manage Rampura Branch together. The four brothers along with their nephew “Mizanur Rahman Akkas” manages the Mirpur Branch. Mohammed Ali, Md Shawkat Ali, Md Shafiqul Islam and their cousin brother “Salimuzzaman Younus” are in a partnership of the Shyamoli branch. Some tragedies happened, three of the brothers and Musliuddin Muslim passed away ( may they be granted Jannah ) and only the eldest brother, Mohammed Ali is still with us. With these incidents came the second generation of the family, their sons. Masud Alom, Md Assaduzzaman Rocky, Mohaiminul Islam Shuvo, Mumit Al Mahdi Mifad along with Mohammed Ali, Salimuzzaman Younus and Mizanur Rahman Akkas are now the ones managing the whole business. Concluding - For us it is not just a sweets shop, it has a lot of memories and emotions. It has a lot of lives connected with it. It is a thing on which our first generation of our family has worked almost their entire life. And with the support of all of you we, the next generation of the family, would want to take it to another which will make our father figures proud.
