In the lap of nature free from the din and bustle of city life, Bangladesh Government approved GB is situated in the Gonoshasthaya Kendra (GK) complex savar. It is now functioning in KG's building and its own building is under construction in a campus on 10 acres of land donated by GK trust. It is only one hour's drive from Dhaka, capital city of Bangladesh and well connected with its surrounding areas.

Gono Bishwabidyalay offers special subjects for studying with a focus on certain aspects of the people of Bangladesh, Gender issues, Ethics Equity and Environmental science in order to equip them with the knowledge and skill necessary for becoming a complete human being both academically and psychologically.
