Since 1988 Hong Kong based Shun Shing Trading Ltd. has been involved in international shipping and trading business dealing in cement, clinker, Gypsum, Fly Ash, Phosphate, Industrial Chemical, Industrial Paper, Iron ore and Sulfur with annual turnover of over 6 million tons.
As the first industrial investment made to support the core business of cement, in 1999 the Group established Seven Circle Bangladesh Ltd (SCBL) to produce and market cement under the brand name of Seven Rings Cement. As forward and backward linkage support of cement factory, the group has established own Cement Bag Manufacturing plant, Own Power Generation Plant, Roads & Transportation Division & Water Transportation Division. Apart from this, the group has established Inland logistic Department, Ship Building Facilities & Edible Oil Refinery Plant.
