Srishti Cultural Foundation
Founded in 1994 by noted dancer Anisul Islam Hero, Srishti has made a name for itself both locally and internationally. In Bangladesh, the centre has pioneered the use of Bharatanatyam classical and modern dance alongside traditional Bangladeshi forms.Through the medium of dance, Srishti strives to promote awareness of social issues such as Women's Rights, the Environment, and HIV/AIDS. Srishti has performed in many international venues, including in Australia, the EU, Southeast Asia and the Subcontinent.
